Urban Camo Project

Picture 1:

This picture was inspired by many of the urban camo pictures that I stumbled upon and it's the only one I decided to paint. I wanted to use paint in at least one of my photos so I could get practice and understand how you could blend someone in with paint. I found some yellow paint and painted a persons hand and had her put it on the railing so it appeared she was part of it. I blurred the railing in photoshop to make it look more blended.

In this photo I decided to use duck tape and tape someones shoe so it would look as if the shoe was part of the garbage can. I thought duck tape and a garbage can were a good fit for each other as they are both shiny and shiver. I really wanted to explore different types of urban camo and not just use one type of material or colour. I blurred this photo in photoshop just to make it harder to spot.

This way probably my favourite image I took and it was also the easiest to create. While looking at urban camo photos I found a few of this guy in all blue clothing that was taking pictures around our school. I thought it was neat how you could blend people into a scene without painting or putting some sort of material on them. I used a black jacket along with some yoga pants and put them in a sitting position. I really liked the turn out so I didnt have to do anything in photoshop.
